Shelving in concourse areas
"The Club and London Stadium recently undertook a review across the entire concourse area and new shelving will be in place for the match against Leicester City on Saturday 18 March."

Looked everywhere, couldn't find it.

From my observations children come in all heights so not sure how they are going to achieve that. I can understand needing rounded edges etc

Hot off the press: More Shelving!

Nick Kendall (NKen) confirmed that shelving is present in all concourses, but that phase two of the project was still to be finalised and the Club are working with LS185 to have more shelving agreed in time for the new season.

NKen added that health and safety issues had to be considered when installing shelving – particularly to ensure that the height and location of the shelving wouldn’t be a risk to children, but that suitable areas had been identified and the Club would continue to work with LS185 over the summer to complete phase two

Shelving update: I found and used a shelf in the BML yesterday. Cannot believe I actually found it though as it was only about 8ft across and looked like something Ikea would sell. I reckon £200 max.

This has probably taken about 20 meetings and the club will probably see it as listening to the fans and improving the "Matchday experience".

"Since the beginning of West Ham’s ownership of the stadium there has been much improvement in and around the newly built stadium.....SHELVING has been placed in various blocks at the stadium to ensure fans can rest their drinks at half time during the break"

My first visit to the Olympic was yesterday and I stood by my seat for the first three minutes, got told to sit down or your out by the SS.

I watched the game on the Party Deck and enjoyed it, if I go again I won't even go to my seat.

As from next season away fans must have at least 10% pitch side .

Re: Shelving in concourse areas
its a shame they cant bring the party deck back to the other end, they should try and keep away fans in the upper teir aswell, im sure there is a way.

The price they charge for the beer is a right bracket

Re: Shelving in concourse areas
About time with the shelving on the concourse - should be more but means you don't drop everything ! I saw at half time more people with pints in upper tier - did they get past the gestapo at the bottom of the stairs or do they now sell half time refreshments upstairs?

Re: Shelving in concourse areas
It would be funny if there wasn't 50ft gaps between the tiers and scaffold seating 50ft from the pitch where this shelving is going.
Never mind about fucking shelving, what are the lying cunts doing about that?

What next armchairs and coffee tables?

The club is a fucking joke as usual but no surprise with those Spivs in charge.
